Hydrant Boost Testing

Hydrant Boost Testing

A Hydrant Booster consists of valves used by the fire brigade to increase the volume and pressure of water.

Hydrants are required by the QLD building codes to be compliant with federal and state legislation.

This involves making sure there is nothing obstructing or impeding the booster, pump, or hydrant.

Hydrants require an inspection every 6 months, a flow test annually, and need to be replaced every 5 years.
